| - | Because of using chemical building materials the walls of our houses are not able to breath anymore. Damp walls are no surprise! | |
| - | We have forgotten about the charm and natural climate of old houses. We can't even remember about good characteristics of chalk paint. Instead we use cheap emulsion paint, which makes it possible to wash down the walls. That's the perfect condition to cause damp walls! | |
| - | Instead of walls plastered by hand we prefer pasted up walls. Even an intelligent ventilation won't be able to prevent condensation or mould here! | |
| - | Little ventilation or heat leaks are causes for damp walls. A thermographic camera can be used to find heat leaks in your house. Ask an expert. Make sure that your flat is ventilated regularly! | |
| - | Damp walls start on the walls surface. If there's moisture on its surface it can reach the walls core easily, too! On this way damp masonwork can be caused! | |
| Please do not use even more chemical substances to fight dampness. | ||
| Facade insulation won't be the best solution here. A dry and healthy wall is still the best insulation! | ||
